INSPIRATION & PASSION
Inspiration and passion come in many guises, as a small child my maternal grandmother gave me hours of fun by letting me rummage through her button tin. Many of these buttons had come from her mother and her mother’s mother .These small brightly coloured metal or plastic buttons seemed like tiny works of art or gems to me and this memory has stayed with me throughout my life.
I never lost this early love of gems and jewellery and gained my BA Hons in silversmithing , Jewellery and Allied crafts at Sir John Cass School of art in London . Ironically having completed my degree, I never intended to actually make jewellery again, and went into design management for more than 30 years, firstly in the Ceramics industry for Wedgwood and then latterly working with well known jewellery brands whilst living in Hong Kong, and then Bangkok.
My love for creating was reignited when I came across the amazing silver I now work in – Argentium.
Argentium is always purer than standard 925 silver, at either 940 or 960 and allows me to create your jewellery seamlessly without solder as I can fuse beautiful clean joints, other key benefits are it’s
Hypoallergenic
Argentium is hypoallergenic because it uses germanium for a hardener as apposed to more commonly used nickel.
The Whitest Silver
The use of germanium also leads to a slightly whiter, brighter silver compared to other silver alloys.
Antibacterial
Arengtium Silver is highly Antibacterial, preventing bacteria from performing even their most basic functions
Tarnish resistant
By swapping copper for germanium, Argentium becomes much more tarnish resistant than sterling silver.

All of these benefits mean I can confidently create my lines knowing my raw material is environmentally responsible and not depleting natural resources.
Every item I create is handmade and has its own unique story or theme; I love organic and free-form shapes and hope you will enjoy wearing them as much as I enjoy creating them.
For me the jewellery I create for my customers must have the 3 T’s - it must be Tactile, Timeless, Talkative, or put more simply, it must “speak to” the wearer.
You in turn I hope ,will find yourself telling others about where you bought it , or who gave it to you , why you love the style , the colour or feel of the piece and why it is now your “go to favourite accessory
I live in rural lincolnshire with two mental cats and am lucky enough to have my own workshop in the beautiful Fulbeck Craft Centre, an idyllic setting to be following my rekindled passion.
In addition to making my own jewellery, I teach jewellery making at various jewellery schools throughout the U.K. and at my workshop, as well as pearl stringing , demoing from time to time on Jewellery Maker Tv and promoting my own lines on Gemporia Tv.
One of my best selling lines which has featured several times on Tv is now being sold to help create cleaner water globally. For every acorn pendant I sell I from June 2022 I will donate £5.00 to www.wateraid.org Clean water is a basic right of every human on the planet
