Do you love jewellery? If you have always wanted to learn a new skill and love jewellery, our classes are for you. Whether you long to make your own wedding ring, a simple bangle or a stunning bracelet - come and learn the skills in this tranquil location.
Silver jewellery making courses
The class
During the day you will learn about basic jewellery-making tools and techniques - including soldering, fusing, basic setting, texturing, wire work and oxidising depending on the designs you select). You will choose one or two jewellery items to create, and will discover how to put your own unique twist on pieces. You can select from pre-packed kits, stacking rings, necklaces and earrings - made in genuine silver.
Who is it for?
The class is suitable for everybody - from absolute beginners, to more advanced students wishing to expand their knowledge. I am happy to teach either one-to-one or up to a maximum of 3 people per class. Basic notes and tips will be provided but please feel free to make your own notes during the class, which is always light-hearted ancl fun.
Silver jewellery making course
Full day (10.30am - 4.00pm)
£155 - including materials, 2 items of jewellery and light refreshments.
Half day (10.30am - 1.30pm)
£115 - including materials, 1 item of jewellery and light refreshments.
£15 discount (either class) for bookings of 2 or more people. Maximum 3 students per class.
Pearl Stringing & Knotting Courses
The class
During the day I will talk you through and show you the different types of pearls, explain about the tools and thread needed, and will teach you how to string and hand knot the pearls in your kit.
You will be provided with everything you need to produce a beautiful 18" fresh water pearl necklace, complete with silver clasp. Longer lengths can also be made, or you may choose to make two bracelets - the choice is yours.
